THE PEARL
Taste the roaring twenties
We find ourselves in New York, in the 20s. After the hardships of the previous years, we leave the problems behind and learn to enjoy the moment.
We are in this great era of prosperity and growth, years of happiness and living life to the fullest. In short, it’s a time of freedom.
Radio arrives in homes, along with the transmission of images on televisions, jazz makes its way into society, and women are free to express glamour in their own way.
Everything is accessible without worrying about what might happen, shining in every sense but decaying from within.

This art direction project captures the glamour and exuberance of the Roaring 20s to create a distinctive chocolate truffle. The challenge involved a deep dive into the decade—its economy, innovations, social trends, politics, and lifestyle—to craft a chocolate that embodies the spirit of the era. Every detail, from the packaging to the way the chocolate is eaten, is thoughtfully designed to transport the consumer back to the vibrant energy of the 1920s.
Elegant on the outside, delightful at first taste, but hiding an unpleasant surprise within. It reflects the glamorous façade of the era, and the inevitable decay lurking beneath — a nod to the decade’s glittering rise and its tragic fall.
